FAQ

Where do I find it?

In wp-admin, under WPHEKA > Server Info. Administrators can open it.

Why does the server location say "reserved range" or "private range"?

The server's IP address is a local or private one, for example on a test site, so IP-API.com can't place it. On a live server it shows the city and country.

Does the plugin send any data?

Only the server's IP address, to IP-API.com, to look up the server location. See Server.

Open WPHEKA > Server Info, go to Settings on the Overview tab, switch off Server details in the admin footer and click Save changes.

Only users who can open the Server Info page, which by default means administrators. Editors, authors and other users see WordPress' own footer.

The database values look out of date.

They are read once a week and kept until then. Open the Database tab and click Refresh to read them again.

Why is the memory limit higher here than my host says?

The page shows the limit in wp-admin. WordPress raises it for admin pages, so the front end of your site can have a lower limit.

Is it safe to post a screenshot in a support forum?

Yes. The PHP tab leaves out request headers, cookies and environment variables. See Safe to share. Check any screenshot before posting it anyway: it shows your server's IP address and folder paths.

Why don't other plugins' notices show on the plugin page?

Since 1.9.1 the page under WPHEKA > Server Info keeps notices from WordPress and other plugins off the page, so nothing appears above the header and then jumps into place. Those notices still show on the Dashboard and every other admin screen.

Where do I get help?

Ask in the support forum.
