Installation
- In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin.
- Search for Request For Quote by WPHEKA.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
WooCommerce must be installed and active first.
What activation sets up
- A quote list page called Request A Quote, with the
[wpheka_request_for_quote]shortcode. If a page with that shortcode already exists, the plugin uses it instead. - The Add to quote button on product pages, shown to everyone after the Add to cart button.
- The quote email to the store, sent to the site's admin email address.
Check your setup
- Go to WPHEKA > Request For Quote.
- Under Quote list, check that Quote list page shows your quote page.
- Under Emails, check that New quote request is On and goes to the right address.
- Click Save changes if you changed anything.
Send a test request
- Open a product on your store and click Add to quote.
- Open the quote list (the Browse the list link or your quote page).
- Fill in the form and click Send Your Request.
You should see "Your request has been sent successfully.", get the email and find the request on the Requests tab.
