Installation

This guide walks you through installing WC Moneris Payment Gateway Pro on your WordPress site.

  1. Download the plugin

    • Log in to your WPHEKA account dashboard
    • Download the Pro zip file

  2. Install it from WordPress

    • Log in to your WordPress admin
    • Go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin
    • Click Choose File and select the plugin zip file
    • Click Install Now
    • Click Activate Plugin when the installation finishes

Method 2: FTP​

  1. Extract the plugin

    • Unzip the downloaded file
    • You should see a folder named wc-moneris-payment-gateway-pro

  2. Upload it

    • Connect to your site by FTP
    • Upload the wc-moneris-payment-gateway-pro folder to /wp-content/plugins/
    • Log in to your WordPress admin
    • Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins
    • Find WC Moneris Payment Gateway Pro and click Activate

System requirements​

Before you install, check that your site has:

  • PHP: 7.4 or later
  • WordPress: 4.9 or later
  • WooCommerce: 3.0 or later, installed and active
  • cURL: the PHP cURL extension, which the plugin uses to talk to Moneris
  • SSL: an HTTPS checkout, recommended for any store that takes card payments

After installation​

  1. Activate your license. The payment methods only appear once the license is active.
  2. Set up a payment method
  3. Test your setup

Troubleshooting​

If something goes wrong during installation:

  • Check that your hosting account lets you install plugins
  • Check that your site meets the requirements above. The plugin shows a notice if PHP or WooCommerce is too old.
  • Check that WooCommerce is installed and active
  • Contact WPHEKA support if the problem continues
