WC Backorder Split
WC Backorder Split is a free WooCommerce plugin. When a customer buys more of a product than you have in stock, it moves the extra quantity to a new order with the Backordered status. You ship what you have now and the rest when it arrives.
What it does

An example
A customer orders 3 of a product you have 1 of, plus $7 shipping.
- The original order keeps 1 item and the $7 shipping. You ship it now.
- The backorder order gets the other 2 items and the same shipping method at $0. It has the Backordered status until you ship it.
The two orders add up to what the customer paid.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.5 or later
- WooCommerce 4.2 or later
- PHP 8.1 or later
Both order storages are supported: High-Performance Order Storage and WordPress posts storage.
