Installation
- Install and activate WooCommerce.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin and search for WPHEKA Edit Orders for WooCommerce.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
What works straight away
- Store-owner editing is on. Open any paid order in Processing or On hold and use Edit items or address in the Edit order box.
- Customer changes are on, for one hour after payment. Customers can cancel (you approve each request), change their address, change a size or colour and edit their order note.
- Open for changes is off.
Set it up
Go to WPHEKA > Edit Orders. A short getting-started list shows what is left to do:
- Turn on order editing.
- Choose editable statuses.
- Let customers make changes.
- Edit your first order.
Then choose what customers may change and for how long. See The Edit Orders page.
Payment methods
Refunds go back automatically through any payment method that supports refunds in WooCommerce, such as Stripe, WooPayments and PayPal Payments. For methods that can't (for example bank transfer), the refund is recorded and you are reminded by email to send the money yourself.
Before you remove the plugin
Deactivate it first, from Plugins. Deactivating moves any order still held as Open for changes to Processing. Your settings and the activity log are kept unless you choose otherwise. See the FAQ.
